Transforming lives through intentional design

At L.E.A.P. This Year LLC, we believe in more than just second chances; we believe in designing a new future. Discover how our program empowers justice-involved men to become architects of their own success.

Our program's core philosophy

Our program is designed to facilitate a fundamental shift in self-perception. We believe that sustainable change doesn't come from external pressure, but from an internal reorganization of who a man believes he is and what he is capable of achieving.

Re-architecture of identity

We guide participants through shedding 'default' identities shaped by past trauma or stagnation, replacing them with a designed identity for permanent progress.

From intention to action

We provide a framework for men to break self-limiting cycles and replace them with sustainable habits of excellence, turning intentions into tangible actions.

Architects of the future

Our ultimate goal is to transition participants from being spectators in their own lives to becoming intentional architects of their future.

Experience intentional evolution

Participants in our program undergo a rigorous process of intentional evolution. We combine strategic psychological work with tactical lifestyle design to ensure lasting change.

Daily Accountability & Routine

Focus: Life Skills and the N.E.W. M.E. Framework

Success is built through the mastery of daily habits. This initiative implements rigorous Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for daily life, ensuring every resident develops a reliable routine. Central to this is our N.E.W. M.E. (Now Experiencing Worthwhile Meaningful Engagement) curriculum, which focuses on emotional intelligence, financial literacy, and the "Leadership" mindset required for long-term stability.

  • Key Features: Morning check-ins, structured daily schedules, and workshops centered on life skills, personal branding, and organizational stability.

Employment-Focused Support

Focus: Reintegration and Economic Independence

The ultimate goal of this initiative is to ensure every resident has a clear pathway to a sustainable career. We go beyond simple job placement by focusing on workforce readiness, interview preparation, and connecting men with employer partners who value reliability and skill.

  • Key Features: Job readiness training, assistance with professional documentation, and strategic partnerships with local businesses looking for dedicated, disciplined workers.

What makes us different?

Traditional transitional housing focuses primarily on providing shelter and basic stability. We recognize that a change of address is not the same as a change of life. Our model is built on the philosophy that sustainable success requires a total re-architecture of the man.

Our proprietary N.E.W. M.E. curriculum

The core of our distinction lies in our proprietary N.E.W. M.E. curriculum: Never Exhibiting What Many Expect transitioning to Now Experiencing Worthwhile Meaningful Engagement. We don't just offer a place to stay; we offer a rigorous, multi-pillar system designed to deconstruct old narratives and build a new, resilient identity from the ground up.

Social enterprise mindset

We operate with a "Social Enterprise" mindset. From the way we structure our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to the way we facilitate workshops, we prepare men for the high-level expectations of the modern workforce and community leadership. Participants aren't "tenants"; they are architects of their own future, working through a curriculum focused on leadership, accountability, and purpose.
